Norden, a major Danish shipping company, faced the significant challenge of managing and monitoring the IT infrastructure across its global fleet of vessels. Raynet implemented a solution using a central administration server and local distribution servers on each vessel to manage software deployment and reporting. This system utilized intelligent bandwidth management and byte-level differentiation to drastically reduce network traffic while ensuring updates and patches were delivered effectively.
