Complete setup of an App-V infrastructure as part of the migration to Windows 10

The City of Kaufbeuren, a municipal government with 850 employees, needed to manage a migration from Windows 7 to Windows 10. A key part of this project involved a technology change, requiring them to migrate and repackage over 110 software applications from VMware ThinApp to Microsoft App-V. They sought a reliable partner to establish a new App-V infrastructure and handle the complex repackaging process.

The vendor, Raynet, was selected to implement the solution. They designed and built the necessary App-V infrastructure, established new processes, and repackaged all required applications using their RayFlow and RayPack Studio solutions. Raynet also provided customized App-V training for the city's IT team. The project was completed successfully and on time, resulting in a fully functional App-V environment and a knowledgeable internal team to manage it.
