Maines Paper & Food Service, a foodservice distributor with nine distribution centers, needed a material‑handling partner to raise service levels and profitability while reducing the burden of lift‑truck equipment management. The Raymond Corporation supplied and supported a fleet of 174 Raymond® lift trucks (pallet trucks, Reach‑Fork®, orderpickers and Swing‑Reach®), including AC‑powered units, cold‑storage conditioning, CoastPRO® productivity features and extra guards, plus on‑site technicians via Pengate Handling Systems and Raymond operator training. The integrated solution increased reliability and productivity across Maines’ nine DCs, reduced repairs and downtime, streamlined seasonal rentals and equipment swaps, and freed Maines to focus on customer service.
