Bunzl Utilizes iTRACK Lift Truck Maintenance Tracking System

Bunzl North America, headquartered in St. Louis, needed clearer visibility into lift truck utilization, maintenance and true cost of ownership across its many distribution centers—especially given trucks can operate up to 80 hours in a five-day work week (more than 2,000 hours per year). To gain real-time operating and maintenance data, Bunzl implemented The Raymond Corporation’s iWAREHOUSE fleet and warehouse optimization system, including iTRACK, to capture and centralize fleet metrics.

Using The Raymond Corporation’s solution, Bunzl gained internet-accessible, unit-level data on hours, repairs, work orders and cost-per-hour, allowing managers to analyze trends, budget capital expenditures, right-size equipment mixes and decide when to service, replace or reassign trucks. The result was faster, data-driven decisions that improved uptime and cost control—enabling Bunzl to identify cost trends, plan next-year budgets and optimize fleet size and composition.
