Case Study: Olo achieves 4-minute issue detection and diagnosis with Raygun

A Raygun Case Study

Preview of the Olo Case Study

Increasing survivability in the US$800 billion dollar restaurant industry

Olo is a New York–based enterprise that builds white‑label mobile ordering apps for restaurants like Five Guys, Shake Shack and Denny’s. To scale into the US$800 billion restaurant market and support increasingly large clients, Olo needed to prevent crashes and performance problems across dozens of apps—one bug could affect hundreds of deployments—and get real user insight before customers noticed or complained.

Olo integrated Raygun’s crash reporting, real‑user monitoring and application monitoring alongside Datadog and Sumo Logic (with GitHub and Slack integrations) to gain end‑to‑end visibility. That tooling let engineers pinpoint root causes quickly (often diagnosing issues in about four minutes), reduce rework, proactively fix errors before users were impacted, and reliably scale their platform for larger customers.
