SNOPAC 9-1-1 Leverages Rave Panic Button to Locate Missing Children

SNOPAC 911 Emergency Communications, concerned about rising active-shooter incidents and the critical need to find missing children quickly, sought a faster way to notify responders and on-site staff. SNOPAC 911 selected Rave Mobile Safety’s Rave Panic Button to accelerate emergency notifications and coordinate responses.

Rave Mobile Safety implemented Rave Panic Button across more than 70 schools in six districts in February 2015; on March 16 a school employee used the app to immediately contact 9-1-1 and push a detailed alert (child description and originator location) to staff, administration, and School Resource Officers. The rapid notifications and ongoing updates from the 9-1-1 call taker led to the child being located safely shortly after the alert, demonstrating Rave Mobile Safety’s ability to shorten reporting and notification times and improve responder coordination.
