Seminole County - Customer Case Study

Seminole County, FL — home to 62 K–12 public schools, 67,000 students and 8,000 staff — faced inconsistent, one-size-fits-all safety procedures, a bottleneck where only principals could initiate lockdowns, and poor coordination between school administration and law enforcement. To improve situational awareness and accelerate emergency response, Seminole County adopted Rave Mobile Safety’s Rave Panic Button (in combination with Mutualink) to provide instant notification and streamlined communications.

Rave Mobile Safety deployed Rave Panic Button to faculty across all 62 schools, loaded geo-fenced campuses and floor plans into PSAP incident dashboards, and implemented School Response Plans and drills. The solution enabled a real-world lockdown to be managed quickly and without injury, reduced emergency response times, and is now used daily for non-urgent Staff Assist communications—delivering faster, coordinated responses across the district and saving critical time at scale.
