Rave Assists Seaboard Foods During COVID-19 Outbreak & Beyond

Seaboard Foods, the second largest pig producer in the U.S. with more than 5,000 employees across five states and over 2,700 employees at its Guymon, OK facility, struggled to communicate quickly and reliably with frontline workers who often lack company email or strong internet. The COVID-19 outbreak intensified that challenge, prompting Seaboard Foods to adopt Rave Mobile Safety’s Rave platform to deliver targeted emergency and nonemergency messaging directly to staff.

Using Rave Mobile Safety, Seaboard Foods implemented targeted notifications for testing logistics, negative/clear-to-work messages, and segmented 14‑day quarantine communications so employees were informed when they could safely return. The solution enabled the company to notify more than 700 people about work status in bulk (vs. individual calls), streamline shift-cancellation alerts, run onboarding surveys during new hires’ first 60 days, and improve overall employee engagement and operational efficiency.
