A Rave Mobile Safety Case Study
Eaton County Central Dispatch, which serves 100,000+ residents across 579 square miles in South Central Michigan, faced rising expectations for immediate, mobile-first emergency communication and the operational gaps caused by declining landlines and multi-agency coordination. To modernize public alerts, improve situational awareness, and speed decision-making across police, fire, and EMS agencies, Eaton County turned to Rave Mobile Safety and its family of public-safety tools.
Rave Mobile Safety implemented Rave Alert for mass and hyper-local notifications, Smart911 to provide caller profiles and fill the lost-landline gap, and the Rave Panic Button for instant school and facility alerts. The county reports messages deliver within seconds, has grown to 11,406 Smart911 profiles, achieved faster coordinated lockdowns without long 9-1-1 hold times, reduced traffic around incidents, and improved real-time, fact-based public messaging. Consolidating these tools on a single Rave Mobile Safety dashboard and training supervisors to send alerts has streamlined response, saved critical seconds, and strengthened community and responder safety.
