Greeneville City Schools Bolster Community Engagement Through Rave Amid COVID-19

Greeneville City Schools faced sudden disruption when the COVID-19 pandemic forced a rapid shift to virtual learning and exposed gaps in digitally delivering report cards and maintaining timely family communications. To meet these challenges the district deployed Rave Mobile Safety solutions—most notably the SwiftK12 platform integrated with PowerSchool (including PDF Builder and PowerTeacher messaging)—to digitize student communications and reach families effectively.

Using Rave Mobile Safety’s SwiftK12, Greeneville staff sent more than 196,000 emails, 117,000+ text messages and nearly 44,000 calls since March 2020, secured electronic report card delivery, and ensured valid contact information for all students to support reopening under new COVID-19 protocols. The district is also implementing Rave Panic Button to streamline emergency alerts and drill reporting, enhancing both day-to-day engagement and campus safety.
