Eastside Elementary School - Customer Case Study

Eastside Elementary School in Clinton, Mississippi, faced the challenge of keeping two adjacent but separate schools coordinated during emergencies while dealing with spotty cell service across campus. Principal Mandy Taylor brought the Rave Panic Button mobile app from vendor Rave Mobile Safety to address the need for reliable, flexible mass notification and targeted communications for events like severe weather, drills, missing students, or active assailant situations.

Rave Mobile Safety implemented the Rave Panic Button on staff phones using campus Wi‑Fi, enabling features like Staff Assist, group-targeted alerts, and one‑tap 9‑1‑1 with location reporting. The solution ensured the right people were notified—even off site—helped a lockdown drill “go off without a hitch,” supported faster location of missing students and a timely medical response at a public event, and improved overall reliability and responsiveness of school communications.
