A Rave Mobile Safety Case Study
Downtown Community Safety Partnership (DCSP), a Winnipeg non-profit, needed a way to reduce pressure on emergency services by providing targeted, non‑police crisis response at street level. To collect reliable data, coordinate foot patrols, mobile first‑aid teams and long‑term case management, DCSP partnered with Rave Mobile Safety and adopted its AppArmor platform (AppArmor Command mobile and desktop).
Rave Mobile Safety’s AppArmor let DCSP log interactions with 70+ internal users, create custom categories, publish a public-facing app and feed data via an API into dashboards for real‑time deployment decisions. The result: inbound referrals and overall calls quadrupled and transport calls tripled in 2022, a public campaign drove about 1,200 AppArmor downloads, and the platform’s reporting helped demonstrate resource savings (reducing costly police/judicial time) while Rave Mobile Safety’s support ensured quick resolution of technical issues.
