Case Study: Mayo Clinic achieves streamlined, secure emergency response and faster incident command with Rave Mobile Safety

A Rave Mobile Safety Case Study

Preview of the Mayo Clinic Case Study

An Easy-to-Manage Emergency Response System Makes a More Efficient and Effective Mayo Clinic

Mayo Clinic, a large multi-region health system, faced a fragile, labor-intensive emergency notification and incident command setup: previous vendors required extensive training, produced overly complex reports, became unresponsive to updates, and even lost part of their contact database (requiring more than two weeks to restore). Seeking CAP compliance, automation, integrations, and a cloud-based platform, Mayo Clinic selected AppArmor by Rave Mobile Safety to replace their legacy systems and better protect patients and staff.

Rave Mobile Safety worked with Mayo Clinic to configure AppArmor’s cloud-based notifications, API integrations, permission guardrails, and incident command features—yielding faster, more consistent alerts and simpler management. The system now supports 587 Mayo centers and 83,494 recipients, provides detailed exportable alert logs, visual HICS rosters for rapid decision-making, and enables onboarding in about an hour; these changes have reduced maintenance time, improved response speed and readiness, and added rapid recovery and redundancy compared with the prior vendor.
