Preview of the Experian Case Study

UK's Largest Credit Rating Agency: Centralized management solution for all devices

Experian, a global information‑services provider with 12,000 employees and more than £1.3bn in annual revenue, built a new £31.6m Fairham House data center to consolidate two Nottingham sites and support rapid growth (from about 700 toward 5,000 servers). To standardize operations across regions and verticals, the company needed a centralized, secure and auditable way to remotely manage hundreds of multi‑platform servers while improving uptime, security and operational efficiency.

Experian implemented a hybrid Raritan KVM solution—Dominion KX/SX switches with CommandCenter Secure Gateway and a Paragon analog front end—deployed by Comrac Ltd. This delivered non‑blocked local video access plus flexible IP/dial‑in remote access, full audit trails, and scalable centralized management. The result was stronger security, faster, more reliable support (24/7), simplified administration and a platform sized to meet capacity and service‑level goals for the next decade.
