Plantorama, a Danish garden center chain, faced the challenge of creating a seamless online shopping experience that accurately reflected the localized inventory of its 13 physical stores. Their initial web personalization efforts were promoting popular products that were often out of stock at a customer's nearest location, leading to frustration. Raptor developed a special logic for Plantorama that used warehouse data from each garden center to ensure product recommendations were only for items available in nine or more locations. This solution, along with moving recommendation modules higher on the page, led to an immediate 40% increase in conversion rate.
