Bog & idé, the largest bookseller in Denmark, sought to create a cohesive omnichannel experience by combining customer data from its online store and 125 physical locations. The challenge was to use this combined data to deliver highly relevant product recommendations and meet the different needs of customers across all platforms. To address this, they partnered with the vendor Raptor and implemented its personalization solution.

Raptor implemented personalized product recommendations that were calculated in real-time, using an algorithm that learned from user behavior. This allowed Bog & idé to recommend the right products whether a customer was online or using a tool for in-store sales reps. The solution from Raptor drove significant results, with the revenue attributed to its modules increasing from 3.74% to 15.83% of total online revenue in just three weeks, demonstrating a major boost in sales effectiveness.
