Bauhaus, a major European DIY retail chain, sought to create a seamless omnichannel experience that connected its physical warehouses with its online webshop. To achieve this, they partnered with the vendor Raptor to implement a Customer Data Platform (CDP), website personalization, and email marketing solutions.

Raptor implemented its solutions to connect Bauhaus's online and offline data sources into a Single Customer View. This allowed Bauhaus to deliver highly relevant, automated product recommendations across their website and email campaigns based on individual customer behavior and in-store purchases. The solution enabled a seamless transition between physical and digital spaces, ensuring customers were only targeted with products they were actually in the market for, which increased relevance and helped overcome ad blindness.
