Rosendin Electric Uses Raptor Maps Software to Capture Nearly 1 Million Module Serial Numbers

Rosendin, the nation’s largest employee-owned electrical contracting company, needed a fast and reliable way to capture PV module serial numbers for a 300+ MW solar project under construction. To solve this challenge, they worked with Raptor Maps and used its Raptor Solar software to digitize module-level supply chain data during construction.

Raptor Maps’ software let dozens of technicians scan serial numbers directly into a digital twin on their smartphones, with up to 27 users scanning at once and speeds of under 2 seconds per module. Nearly 1 million serial numbers were captured and validated in real time, improving supply chain transparency, meeting owner requirements, and creating a high-quality record for easier handoff to operations.
