BayWa r.e. partnered with Raptor Maps to strengthen operations across more than 1GW of managed solar assets in North America. The company wanted to build an in-house UAV/drone data collection program and equip its ROCC, performance engineers, and field teams with better visibility into site conditions and performance issues.

Raptor Maps implemented its solar intelligence platform, along with training and implementation support for BayWa r.e.’s drone pilots, to turn inspection data into actionable insights and GIS-enabled digital twins. The solution helped teams quickly identify and navigate to remediation tasks through a mobile app, save time in the control room and field, and create a more comprehensive system of record by normalizing new and legacy inspection data for degradation analysis and fleet-wide KPI tracking.
