Allianz Global Investors used interactive video to address recruitment and onboarding challenges in financial services, where the company wanted to counter negative industry perceptions, broaden its talent pool, and appeal to both millennial recruits and longer-tenured employees. The goal was to give job candidates and new hires a deeper look at the firm’s culture, work environment, and onsite facilities while increasing quality recruits and brand awareness.

Working with Rapt Media, Allianz Global Investors created “Welcome to the Investment Factor,” an interactive experience that let players experience a day in the life of a portfolio manager and earn or lose points based on their decisions. The solution delivered strong engagement with recruits, new hires, and current employees, and helped AllianzGI build and present the business case to executives using viewer feedback, client feedback, and click data from recruitment sites such as Glassdoor.
