Sinclair Broadcast Group, the second-largest television station operator in the U.S., needed to modernize PALAS (Program Asset Liability Administration System), an internal finance and accounting system built in the early 2000s. RapidValue Solutions re-engineered PALAS with a new architecture, improved forecasting and reporting, centralized multiple instances into one, optimized the database, and added stronger search, auditing, and filtering capabilities. The result was a more accessible and secure system with detailed aggregated reporting, centralized management for finance and accounting teams, and improved usability across web browsers.
