Rapid7 Shines a Light on the Murky Threat Landscape for Dutch Insurer Alpina Group

Alpina Group, a Netherlands-based insurance technology firm, needed to mature its in-house security program as the company grew quickly and its IT environment expanded. The small security team wanted better vulnerability management and incident detection to improve visibility, reduce risk, and replace a SIEM platform that was difficult to run.

Rapid7 implemented InsightVM for vulnerability management and InsightIDR for threat detection and response. The result was faster deployment, stronger visibility into assets and network activity, and much easier risk reporting through live dashboards and logs; Rapid7 also helped Alpina Group save significant time compared with its previous SIEM, which had required a much larger team to operate.
