Wilmar International, through its Wilmar Sugar operations in Queensland, needed a better way to manage contractor access, compliance, and induction across eight large sites. With nearly 1,000 contracting companies and a manual front-desk sign-in process, the company struggled to know who was compliant, who was on site, and whether contractors had the right documentation before being assigned work. Rapid Global’s Rapid Contractor Management, Rapid Induct, and Rapid Access Systems were introduced to address these challenges.

Rapid Global implemented 9 Rapid Access terminals and a centralized contractor management platform that let Wilmar staff track site access, store documents, and verify inductions and compliance before work began. The results included more than 16,625 documents stored in the system and a reported 110-fold increase in contractor compliance, while also improving site security and simplifying the induction process.
