Victoria University, a broad tertiary education and TAFE institution with 8 campuses across Melbourne and surrounding regions, needed a better way to standardise contractor induction, contractor management, and site sign-in. Working with Rapid Global, the university aimed to ensure contractors were fully compliant before accessing site, especially when moving between multiple locations in a single day, while also tracking their time on site.

Rapid Global implemented Rapid Induct, Rapid Contractor Management, and Rapid Access to streamline registration, approvals, inductions, and sign-ins. Contractors now complete online pre-qualification and OHS requirements before being approved, then sign in via a terminal that prints a visible compliance label. The result has been stronger due diligence, easier identification of preferred suppliers, improved reporting on misuse of visitor sign-ins, and a significant increase in contractor compliance.
