Vicinity Centres, one of Australia’s leading retail property groups, manages 84 shopping centre sites, around 45,000 contractors and 1,250 staff. To improve safety and streamline a process that required contractors to complete time-consuming face-to-face inductions at each new site, Vicinity Centres turned to Rapid Global, using Rapid Induct and Rapid Contractor Management alongside Rapid Access Systems.

Rapid Global implemented an online contractor registration and induction process so contractors could upload documents, get verified, complete inductions remotely, and receive ID cards for site access. With Rapid Access Systems and 112 terminals across its sites, Vicinity Centres gained better oversight, less duplication of data, and substantial time and cost savings, while making it faster to confirm contractor compliance and access the right information through the MyRapid portal.
