Adchem, the largest producer of Copper Oxide globally, needed a faster and safer way to manage contractor inductions and site sign-ins at its single South Australia site. Its manual process was time-consuming, required managers to step away from work, and relied on paper sign-in sheets spread across multiple locations, creating challenges for emergency accountability. Rapid Global’s Rapid Induct, Rapid Contractor Management, and Rapid Access Systems were brought in to address these issues.

Rapid Global implemented online inductions for contractors and visitors, plus Rapid Access terminals for site sign-in, so people could complete training offsite and only access site once approved and inducted. This removed the need for lengthy paper-based inductions, saved staff time, reduced wasted contractor hours, and improved emergency response by providing a live record of who was on site. Adchem reported very positive feedback from users and noted that the system was also cost-effective based on its internal cost analysis.
