Case Study: Sugar Bliss achieves retail growth and buyer engagement with RangeMe

A RangeMe Case Study

Sugar Bliss expands to 500 foodservice operations with RangeMe

Sugar Bliss, a Chicago-based gourmet cookie brand founded by Teresa Ging, sought to expand its retail and foodservice distribution after pivoting from a bakery business to CPG. The challenge was to efficiently connect with a wide array of national buyers and distributors to get their shelf-stable products onto store shelves, a process that often requires significant time, persistence, and direct outreach opportunities.

Using the RangeMe Premium subscription service, Sugar Bliss actively submitted products to over 50 retailers and participated in 15 targeted sourcing campaigns. The solution provided by RangeMe enabled direct buyer outreach and increased visibility. This persistent strategy resulted in major successes, including a national distribution deal with Compass Group for 500 foodservice locations and winning a KeHE Golden Ticket for distribution to all 18 of their national centers. The efforts led to over a dozen buyer meetings and the shipment of approximately 50,000 cookies in the initial order, demonstrating the measurable impact of leveraging the RangeMe platform.
