Career Edge, a not-for-profit job placement service, wanted a creative campus activation to raise awareness among university students and drive enrollment in its program. Ramp Communications was brought in to develop a campaign that would help Career Edge stand out and reshape perceptions around internships.
Ramp Communications created the cheeky “Internshi*s” campaign, using a simple asterisk-led message across pop-up booths, teaser posters, and digital ads to challenge the idea that internships are unpaid or unfulfilling. The activation delivered 21,616 website clicks and an 89% increase in traffic compared with the same period the year before, helping drive a surge in student applications.
