Leading nationalized bank, Bank of India deploys Ramco Banking Analytics for smooth functioning

Bank of India, one of India’s oldest nationalized banks with 3,000+ branches and large deposit and advances portfolios, needed a fast, robust Corporate Performance Management System and a single Operational Data Source after rolling out Finacle. The bank wanted immediate, 360° portfolio and customer-level analytics across loans, deposits, trade finance and profitability, but a custom build would have taken over two years.

BOI implemented Ramco Banking Analytics — a pre-built data warehouse (UDB/CDR) and Ramco DecisionWorks BI with daily connectors to Finacle — using a 24-week rollout and a full-bank go-live across 3,100 branches; key modules were live within nine months. The solution delivered scorecards, KPIs, dashboards and drill-through analysis, significantly reduced reporting time, improved data quality and transparency, supported collaborative decision-making, and enabled rapid user adoption (9 out of 10 users confident after a one-hour hands-on session).
