A Ramco Systems Case Study
China Southern Airlines General Aviation Ltd (CSAGA) is the general aviation subsidiary of China Southern Airlines and one of China’s largest offshore oil & gas helicopter operators, running 24 aircraft from 13 bases. CSAGA faced operational strain from multiple disparate legacy systems, manual maintenance planning and compliance checks, repeated data entry and inconsistent stock visibility—issues that increased costs, slowed turnaround times and limited real-time decision-making.
CSAGA ran a rigorous RFP process and selected Ramco Aviation Systems to deliver a single, integrated MRO platform covering configuration/technical records, maintenance and component planning, AD/SB management, inventory and procurement, and training. The system was implemented in nine months, overcoming data migration, multilingual training and weather disruptions, and delivered centralized forecasting and work-order packaging, real-time stock visibility, reduced TAT, improved compliance monitoring and streamlined procurement—enabling ongoing plans for tool-crib automation and further inventory optimization.
