AutoStore, the Norwegian automated warehouse systems company, needed a way to manage a complex made-to-order production process spread across Poland and Norway while keeping track of components, subcontractors, stock, drawings, and service information in real time. With robots shipped worldwide and production details changing constantly, the company relied on RamBase, an ERP system built for industrial and high-tech manufacturing, to maintain control and visibility across operations.

RamBase implemented a cloud-based system that automatically handles order registration, material requirements, subcontractor orders, and live updates to sales, revenues, costs, and technical documents for authorized users in both countries. The result was full traceability and immediate visibility into changes, plus proactive service monitoring through robot error reporting back into RamBase so AutoStore can respond before customers even notice a problem.
