How Mary Kay Transformed Consultant Experience

Mary Kay, the iconic direct‑selling beauty company, needed to modernize education for its Independent Beauty Consultants — moving beyond a 100+ page print magazine and a linear LMS to a mobile‑friendly, gamified, bite‑sized learning experience. To achieve this, Mary Kay engaged Rallyware and adopted a Rallyware‑based platform called MKConfident, seeking better engagement, recognition, and ease of use for its independent sales force.

Rallyware implemented its Performance Enablement Platform as an all‑in‑one, single‑sign‑on solution, migrating and organizing courses into MKConfident with gamification and badge recognition and close Customer Success collaboration. The results (since kickoff in Fall 2023, through Sept 2024) include over 44,000 active users, 1,052,000+ lessons completed (34.4 average per consultant), and 195,560+ virtual badges awarded — outcomes Mary Kay cites as strong early engagement and proof of Rallyware’s impact.
