Sycamore Elementary School - Customer Case Study

Sycamore Elementary School, a publicly funded Arizona elementary school, needed to raise $15,000 a year to cover classroom supplies, teacher development, and student support. Its PTA also wanted to encourage student achievement and gain donor support, but past read-a-thons were confusing and difficult to manage for volunteers, especially when it came to collecting pledges.

The PTA used RallyUp’s a-thon fundraising platform to launch math-a-thons in 2017 and 2018, making participation and donations much easier to organize. In 2017, the campaign raised $18,426 from about 699 donations across 250+ students and 28 classes, and in 2018 it raised $16,125 from 377 donations with 225+ students and 26 classes. Over two years, RallyUp helped Sycamore Elementary School raise $34,551 to fund a new Google Chrome lab, a STEAM garden, water stations, library improvements, and teacher grants.
