Lufthansa, via Lufthansa Cargo AG, needed a way to modernize its long‑running industry magazine "planet" so it could be published interactively to tablets and the Web at the same time. To solve this, Lufthansa partnered with Rakuten DX, deploying the Aquafadas digital‑publishing solution to create a single workflow for multi‑platform distribution.

Rakuten DX built the digital "planet" app and WebReader (iPad, Android and Web) featuring video, slideshows, interactive graphics and animations to enrich the reader experience and broaden global reach. The project delivered measurable impact in recognition and distribution: Lufthansa’s digital magazine won the Mercury Gold award from IACAS for outstanding App and Web design and expanded engagement across multiple platforms.
