Case Study: Georgia Public Broadcasting digitises its state history textbook into a cross-platform, interactive app with Rakuten DX

How a TV and radio broadcaster digitised history materials

Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB), through its GPB Education branch, needed to replace its Adobe Digital Publishing Suite setup and modernise the digital version of its state history textbook, Georgia Stories: Our State and Our Nation, while continuing to serve classrooms and after‑school programs. They selected Rakuten DX’s Aquafadas digital publishing tools to redeploy their textbook and other learning materials across modern platforms.

Rakuten DX built a cross‑platform, enriched digital book and app (iOS, Android, Web), splitting content into public student material and private teacher resources and working with U.S. partner Disco Learning. The result was an interactive, scalable app, a smooth transition from the previous provider, and the ability to manage users and teacher databases internally without a third‑party manager, improving delivery and ongoing administration.
