Banco Sabadell, Spain’s fifth-largest banking group, needed a clear, concise, user‑friendly mobile guide to its pension schemes that would work across devices. After an initial iPad‑only app, the bank partnered with Rakuten DX, using the Aquafadas Digital Publishing System to extend and standardize the pension guide across multiple mobile platforms.

Rakuten DX delivered a cross‑platform digital publication for iOS and Android (smartphones and tablets), enriching the guide with pop‑ups, scrollable sections, action buttons and dynamic HTML5 content for improved interactivity. The result is an elegant, multi‑device pension guide that became the first pension plan by a Spanish financial institution available on the App Store, increasing client access and prompting Banco Sabadell to keep digital publishing as part of its marketing strategy.
