How Raken Helps Gramercy Increase Visibility Into Large-Scale Demolition Projects

Gramercy, founded in 1989 and specializing in environmental, demolition, heavy civil, and general contracting services, faced a documentation challenge on large-scale demolition projects: written daily reports and incomplete tickets left little visibility into compliance and resource allocation. To modernize reporting and make field data more accurate and accessible, Gramercy adopted Raken’s field-first daily reporting platform and mobile app.

Using Raken, Gramercy implemented cost codes to track progress and resources per building and activity, ran weekly reports to monitor materials and workforce utilization, and consolidated photos and logs into downloadable PDFs for clients. The Raken solution improved visibility and compliance, reduced time spent on daily reports, supported management of 20 ongoing projects (and 20–30 workers per site), and captured measurable outputs like 11,000 photos and the demolition of 440,000 sq. ft. across five buildings.
