The Kids’ Cancer Project partnered with Raisely to run The Better Challenge, a virtual fundraising campaign launched during Covid to engage supporters despite lockdowns and other restrictions. The charity needed a flexible way to motivate participants, grow its donor base, and raise funds for childhood cancer research through peer-to-peer fundraising.
Using Raisely’s peer-to-peer fundraising tools, the team tracked supporter activity, automated communications, and adapted their messaging, incentives, and matched giving strategy as the campaign progressed. Raisely helped The Kids’ Cancer Project raise $1.05 million in one month, surpass its $500,000 goal by more than double, and add 3,000 new fundraisers, nearly doubling its supporter database.
