Amnesty International Australia was looking for a fresh way to improve fundraising after seeing traditional “shoulder” appeals lose effectiveness between EOFY and Christmas. To launch its first-ever Giving Day, the team chose Raisely and used its fundraising platform to test a new campaign approach with the tools it needed for a more engaging donor experience.
Using Raisely’s Giving Day template, matched giving, progress tracking, and SMS-friendly donation flows, Amnesty Australia ran a highly successful inaugural campaign. It raised $120K in less than 24 hours, beat its target by 13%, and achieved an average donation of more than $100, showing how Raisely helped drive strong donor participation and rapid momentum.
