Hiroshima International University expands 3D printing education and outreach with Raise3D, reaching 21 students in one community event

Hiroshima International University sought to enhance its educational tools and expand its community outreach. The university needed more intuitive teaching aids for its geology classes and wanted to help local school children in need of prosthetic limbs. They turned to Raise3D and implemented the Pro2 Plus 3D printer.

Raise3D provided a solution with the Pro2 Plus, a professional 3D printer with a large build volume, dual extrusion for multi-color printing, and high precision. This allowed Professor Okada to easily create detailed geological models for classroom use and to produce full prosthetic devices. The results included an improved learning experience for university students and the donation of 3D printed prosthetics to children. Raise3D's technology also enabled the university to host successful educational events for the public, promoting 3D printing throughout the community.
