Splunk, a company that provides a data-to-everything platform, was challenged to transform its annual live user conference into a global virtual event across three regions with multi-language support. The goal was to deliver a unique and on-brand experience to a worldwide audience, a complex task that required a new technical approach. To solve this global dilemma, the company turned to the RainFocus platform to build a custom event catalog and scheduling experience under a tight deadline.
Using the RainFocus Platform, Splunk created a centralized global catalog with regional navigation and repurposed favoriting tools to allow attendees to easily schedule on-demand content. The platform's Branding Center enabled a complete visual customization to match Splunk's corporate web experience. This solution, supported by real-time analytics, was highly successful, resulting in a 142.3% year-over-year increase in scheduled sessions, totaling 158,000 scheduled sessions for 50,000 attendees.
