Case Study: World Meteorological Organization achieves secure, high-performance global connectivity with Radware LinkProof

A Radware Case Study

Preview of the World Meteorological Organization Case Study

World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Spans the Globe with Radware

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO), a UN agency representing 187 Member States, needed a secure, redundant way for geographically dispersed members to access a remote site over public Internet. WMO’s IT team sought an easy-to-manage multi-homing and WAN-acceleration solution to ensure reliable, fast access to mission-critical applications across different locations.

Radware LinkProof appliances, deployed in front of WMO’s LAN by reseller Dimension Data, combined multi-homing connection management, WAN acceleration and application security to intelligently route traffic, moderate bandwidth and protect against DoS and intrusions. The deployment improved performance and redundancy across two ISP links, kept changeover downtime under an hour, and unlocked new services—such as consideration of a dedicated Conference Center line—positioning WMO for future growth.
