Preview of the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation Case Study

Radware’s products make sure broker-dealers, investment managers and financial institutions can clear and settle trades and securities in an automated online environment

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is the primary U.S. post-trade infrastructure provider, clearing and settling equities, bonds and other securities for banks, broker-dealers and investment managers. To move its mission-critical services online, DTCC needed a scalable, highly available solution with redundancy and intelligent load balancing across distributed data centers to ensure 24x7 access and protect billions of dollars in daily transactions.

DTCC deployed Radware’s Web Server Director (WSD) and Cache Server Director (CSD) across its network to deliver load balancing, multi-level redundancy, cache optimization and seamless failover. With more than 40 WSDs and two CSDs in place, DTCC now offers fault-tolerant, high-performance online services—allowing invisible maintenance, improved responsiveness and continuous processing of billions of dollars in transactions every day.
