Radware’s ADC-VX™ Virtualization Solution Enables Telenet to Consolidate its IT Infrastructure

Telenet, Belgium’s largest cable services provider with about 2.3 million customers, needed to consolidate and virtualize its IT infrastructure while keeping non-stop, high-quality services. The company sought a solution that combined load balancing and application performance monitoring for both stable production and frequently changing test environments, and that would reduce hardware footprint, power and cooling costs.

Telenet deployed four Radware Alteon 5412 switches running the ADC‑VX hypervisor with multiple virtual ADC instances in a high-availability setup, replacing 18 legacy units. The deployment delivered predictable, isolated performance per vADC, instant provisioning for faster time-to-market, and significant savings in hardware, energy and operating expenses.
