Radware’s ADC-VX ™ Virtualization Solution Enables Buypass to Serve More Customers, More Effectively

Buypass AS is a leading Norwegian provider of secure electronic ID, signature and payment solutions (about 2.1M IDs, ~100k daily transactions and ~3,000 peak concurrent users). Facing aging application delivery hardware and rapid growth, Buypass needed to upgrade and consolidate its ADC infrastructure without compromising security, high availability or application performance, and to speed delivery of new ID services.

Buypass deployed Radware’s ADC‑VX virtualization on four Radware Alteon 5412 switches across two sites, using virtual ADC instances with full fault, network and management isolation and site redundancy for continuous service. The solution preserved performance predictability for critical web applications (registration, card lifecycle, SSL and merchant management), enabled significant CAPEX/OPEX and service-cost savings through hardware consolidation, and shortened time to market for new services.
