Hexatom, a leading French IaaS managed service provider, faced a major attack in 2015 that overwhelmed its carrier rate-based defenses and disrupted neighboring customers in its data center. To prevent repeat incidents and protect its infrastructure, Hexatom needed an in-house, comprehensive and automated attack mitigation solution.

Hexatom deployed Radware’s on‑premise Attack Mitigation System (AMS), which uses behavioral real‑time signatures and centralized management to detect and block emerging DDoS, SSL and WAF‑based attacks without human intervention or blocking legitimate traffic. The solution eliminated customer downtime, successfully mitigated subsequent non‑volumetric attacks, and converted a costly operational burden into a new revenue stream by launching enhanced DDoS/WAF services for Hexatom, GREEN DATA Center and external customers.
