BlackMesh is a Virginia-based cloud and managed hosting provider serving 500+ customers across three datacenters in Virginia, Nevada, and Ontario. Facing an evolving DDoS threat landscape and only reactive defenses, the company experienced service degradation and 45–60 minute outages during attacks and needed a proactive solution to protect clients and meet SLAs.

BlackMesh deployed Radware’s Attack Mitigation Solution (AMS) — including DefensePro’s behavioral real-time signatures, APSolute Vision for centralized monitoring, and Radware’s 24x7 Emergency Response Team — to stop Internet pipe saturation, login and SSL floods, and other application attacks. Shortly after deployment it mitigated combined floods of 1.3 Gbps, maintained network performance during attacks, and can now guarantee uninterrupted availability and SLA-backed service for clients.
