Case Study: North American Manufacturer Company streamlines QAD implementation with Radley, LLC

A Radley, LLC Case Study

Preview of the North American Manufacturer Company Case Study

Taking the Bite Out of a QAD Implementation Blending Old with New

North American Manufacturer Company, ITW Powertrain Fastening, was transitioning from a custom homegrown system to QAD and needed to preserve its familiar workflows without costly customization. The company struggled with time-consuming QAD transactions, manual weight-to-piece conversions, limited lot control from raw materials through finished goods, and a steep learning curve for production users. Radley, LLC was brought in to help simplify the transition using barcode data collection, traceability, and containerization/kitting solutions.

Radley, LLC implemented integrated data collection, traceability, automated label printing, and custom UI integration so users could keep working from their existing interface while gaining QAD automation. The solution automated receiving, unplanned issue/receipt transactions, scrap handling, and assembly backflushing, while improving lot control, inventory visibility, and error alerts. As a result, ITW eliminated the need for additional labor as volume grew, improved data integrity, reduced manual scans and transactions, and achieved greater traceability without extensive QAD customizations.
