Taking Efficiency to the Next Level The Automation of 26 Distinct Processes

Global Electronic Manufacturing Company, a supplier of circuit breakers, power transformers and electric transmission technology for the power systems, rail transportation and water treatment industries, struggled with slow, handwritten processes that left their ERP out of date, obscured inventory locations and caused production bottlenecks, tracking pain for lots/serials, and late deliveries. To modernize and gain real-time visibility they engaged Radley, LLC to deploy integrated data collection, traceability and containerization/kitting solutions tied into their ERP.

Radley, LLC implemented license‑plate technology, barcode data collection, automated label printing, mobile scanning and containerization integrated with the customer’s ERP, automating 26 distinct processes and configuring 14 data‑collection transactions. The deployment eliminated nearly all manual data entry, reduced transaction processing time, saved hours of lot/serial tracking, delivered real-time inventory and traceability across the facility, streamlined kitting and cycle counts, produced instant error alerts and automated reporting, and was rolled out to a new facility with minimal Radley support.
