Medical Processor Integrates Business Systems Streamlined Picking & Shipping Boosts Efficiency

North American Processor Company, a U.S.-based biological tissue processor and distributor of human amniotic tissue, faced inefficiencies from running QAD ERP, labeling and FedEx shipping as separate systems. Warehouse workers contended with unreadable stacked barcodes, slow multi-step inventory picking, lack of serial-number validation, and no integrated FedEx shipping—while needing FDA-validated software, GS1-compliant labels, and Certificates of Conformance for regulated products. Radley, LLC was engaged to address these challenges.

Radley, LLC implemented a phased rollout centered on its Data Collection solution with Integrated Labeling and a FedEx interface (plus hardware, label configuration and on-site training) to automate picking and shipping and integrate with QAD. The solution enforces customer-specific picking rules, produces automated pick lists and GS1 labels, groups orders into FedEx shipments and updates the ERP with tracking numbers, and prints required compliance documents. As a result, Radley eliminated nearly all manual data entry, saved hours of wasted time, delivered real-time inventory visibility (including serial numbers), supported kit/serial picking and dramatically increased warehouse productivity.
